Shipping Terms

We offer three standard international trade terms. Please review the options below and choose the one that best suits your import preferences:

FOB（Free On Board）

The FOB price includes all costs up to loading the vehicle onto the vessel at Nagoya Port.
Under FOB, you—the buyer—are responsible for:

Ocean freight (shipping cost from Japan to your port)
Marine insurance (optional but recommended)
Import customs clearance and inland transport in your country

FOB is ideal for buyers who arrange their own shipping or work with a local freight forwarder.

CIF (Cost, Insurance and Freight)

The CIF price includes:

FOB charges (vehicle preparation, inland transport, port handling)
Ocean freight to your designated port
Marine insurance

We will handle all shipping arrangements from Nagoya Port to your country’s port.
Please note: Customs clearance and inland transport at the destination port are the buyer’s responsibility.

C&F (Cost and Freight)

The C&F price includes:

All costs up to vessel departure from Nagoya
Ocean freight to the destination port

Insurance is not included under C&F terms.
Customs clearance and inland transport at the arrival port must be handled by the buyer.

About the shipping from Nagoya Port

Nagoya Port is one of Japan’s key hubs for automobile exports, especially for manufacturers like Toyota.
We ship regularly to Africa, the Middle East, Asia, South America, and many other global destinations.

All processing—delivery, inspection, and loading—is conducted in the Nagoya area.

Cars are stored securely in port yards and shipped via RORO (Roll-on/Roll-off) vessels or container ships, depending on your destination and preferences.

Once the car is loaded, we promptly issue and send the Bill of Lading and all related documents.

Once the vehicle is shipped, we will send you the following documents:

Bill of Lading (B/L)
Export Certificate (Japanese Deregistration Document)
Commercial Invoice
Inspection Certificate (for countries that require it)
