HOW TO BUY
We provide a simple and transparent process to ensure that customers can purchase high-quality used cars from Japan with confidence.
1Search for cars
You can easily find the car you are looking for from our wide selection of used cars. Most of our vehicles come from Atsumi Motors’ inventory or trade-ins, all of which undergo thorough in-house inspections to ensure excellent quality. Search by various criteria such as make, model, year, price, and mileage to quickly find the right car. All car prices are negotiable. If you would like to request a quotation, please contact us via the Inquiry or Request a Quote button.
2Request a Quotation
Once you have selected a car, please request a quotation through our online form, WhatsApp, or email.
Our staff will send you a formal quotation including the following details:
- Vehicle price (FOB price)
- Ocean freight charges (C&F / CIF)
- Port of departure (e.g., Yokohama, Nagoya, Osaka)
- Port of arrival (e.g., Mombasa, Durban, Dar es Salaam)
- Shipping schedule
3Order Confirmation & Issuance of Proforma Invoice
After reviewing the quotation and confirming your intention to purchase, we will issue a Proforma Invoice.
Payment is generally made via Telegraphic Transfer (T/T). Please note that all transactions are conducted in US
dollars (USD).
Before making payment, be sure to verify all information stated in the invoice, including vehicle details, pricing,
Incoterms (FOB / C&F / CIF), payment terms, and deadlines.
4Payment
After receiving the invoice, please transfer the full amount to the bank account specified on the invoice and send
us a copy of the T/T payment slip as proof of payment.
We require 100% payment before shipment. Partial payments cannot be accepted; in such cases, the funds will be
refunded.
Once your payment is confirmed, we will officially secure the vehicle and begin shipping arrangements.
Please note that no changes to the invoice amount can be made after payment is received.
5Export Preparation & Shipping
Upon payment confirmation, we will transport the vehicle to the designated port and handle all export inspections
and shipping procedures in accordance with the issued invoice.
After the vehicle has been shipped, we will provide the following documents:
- Bill of Lading
- Export Deregistration Certificate
- Export Certificate
- Other vehicle-related documents
These documents are required for customs clearance at the destination port.
To ensure smooth collection of your vehicle, please arrange a customs broker or agent in advance. Customs clearance
procedures must be completed by the buyer.
6Vehicle Arrival & Collection
Once the ship arrives at your country’s port, please proceed with the necessary customs clearance and vehicle registration procedures.
